Right from the days when I started studying in school about space explorations, there was one question that kept bothering me. If the Russians could send the first satellite into space, first animal into space, first man into space, then why not onto the moon?

Nice article man. I have seen a documentary on this before and this is a fine example on how you end up if you lead your country based on how other countries are positioned. This is the same thing Pakistan is doing right now. Instead of trying to uplift the majority out of poverty, it spends huge amounts of money on military trying to maintain equal status with India. What does that achieve you? While it's nothing wrong spending money for your countries defense, that should not be whole agenda.
